The Dreams of our Ancestors are realized as the collective children from around the Diaspora who have come together to utilize their talents, experience and networks to move Liberia Forward.

Dr. Tyisha Noise

Dr. Tyisha Noise is an Educator from South Central LA. She received her undergraduate degree from Cornell University in Urban and Regional Studies, a Masters in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University, and her Ed.D in Educational Leadership from Azusa Pacific University; with a research focus in Building Trauma Sensitive Schools in Urban Socioeconomically Disadvantaged Communities of Color. She also has a Master of Science in Teaching Students with Disabilities from Pace University.

As a daughter of a teenage mother, Dr. Noise has learned first-hand the value of an education. Even now in her sixties her mother still  ponders how her life may have been different if just one educator had seen what she was facing and taken the time to help her develop her talent.

Although born into poverty; growing up in neighborhoods with gangs and drug abuse all around, school became not just a way to make her mother proud but an adventure and eventually an escape to a new life. Dr. Noise’s pursuit of education has taken her across continents from North America to Europe - Italy, France, Greece, UK, the Middle East - Israel and Jordan, Egypt and various islands in the Caribbean.
