Carlisa is a product of Washington, DC and its public school system.  She currently resides outside of DC in Brandywine, MD.  She owns and operates Essence of Energy Wellness Center where she is able to offer well-being to her community and help others to reach their optimum health by treating the whole being -- mind, body and spirit.  Her love for all things involving Women's Health led her to become a Womb Health Practitioner and a Full-Spectrum Doula.
